Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College celebrates Annual Day in grandeur

Mangaluru, Nov 25: St Agnes PU College celebrated its college day here at the college grounds on Friday, November 25.

Speaking on the occasion, President NITTE Education Trust N Vinaya Hegde said, “The Agnes institutions belong to entire population of Mangaluru. St Agnes is a great institution where moral values are inculcated. Students not only should excel in academics but also develop good character and involve in all the activities.

He also said, “Education is not a standstill process. It has to change as time progresses. St Agnes is one such institution that gives great knowledge to the students.”

Meanwhile, dignitaries felicitated national-level players and also honoured meritorious students and the best outgoing students.

Joint secretary St Agnes institutions Sr Lydia Fernandes, vice principal Janet Sequeira, PTA vice president Asha Sanjeevana and joint secretary Avinash Krishna Kumar were also present.

Principal Sr Norine D Souza welcomed the gathering. Convenor Jeshma D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks and Joel Fernandes compered the event.

The formal function was followed by a cultural event which was compered by student president Kathija Zamya and vice president Anvika Miranda.
