Mangaluru, Nov 28: A man, resident of Tenka Ekkaru village killed his wife in drunken stupor on November 27.
According to the details, accused Durgesh picked up a quarrel with his wife Saritha in an inebriated state late evening on Sunday November 27. When the heated arguments heightened between Durgesh and his wife, he allegedly took a wooden log and hit his wife and killed her.

Rahul, son of the couple, ran from the spot out of fear and went to his grandmother’s house. On Monday November 28 morning, accused Durgesh called his elder brother Madhu and said that Saritha is dead. When Madhu went to the spot and saw Sarita, wife of Durgesh was lying dead.
A case in this connection is registered in Bajpe police station.
