Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 29: Dakshina Kannada reported one case and Udupi added zero coronavirus cases on Tuesday, November 29.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district stands at 1,37,185 out of which three are currently active. No patients were discharged on November 29.

No deaths were reported on November 29. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Zero coronavirus cases were reported on November 29. The total active Covid cases is zero.

A total of 10,90,860 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,726 have received both doses and 2,99,891 people have received booster doses.

Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala reported zero infections.
