Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 30: Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday, November 30, reported one coronavirus case while nil cases were registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,37,186, out of which 3 are currently active. One patient was discharged on November 30.

No deaths were reported on November 30. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Nil coronavirus cases were reported on November 30. There are zero active Covid cases in the district.

156 persons were tested on November 30.

A total of 10,90,864 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,730 have received both doses and 3,00,256 people have received booster doses.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 60,94,570 as fine and 55,123 people have been penalised.
