Udupi/Mangaluru, Dec 1: The health department of twin districts is planning to conduct vaccination campaign for children to prevent brain fever in future.

The campaign will be held from December 5 to 25. All children in the age group of one to 15 will be vaccinated. There are five lac children in total in Dakshina Kannada and 2.17 lac in Udupi district.

Instructions are given by the government to hold vaccination drive in the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bagalkot, Gadag, Hassan, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Tumakuru, Ramanagara and Yadgiri. Departments of education, health and Asha workers will coordinate the drive.

All children between one and 15 years of age will be vaccinated in schools. Those who are not going to schools will be given vaccination through Outreach vaccination camp. A mark on left hand thumb will be made after every child receives the vaccination for identification purpose.

Brain fever is caused by Japanese Encephalitis Virus (JEV) that is carried by Culex mosquitoes. Vaccination is very effective against this dreaded disease. Children who get affected by the disease are likely to develop nerve weakness, hampered intelligence and permanent disability.

Main symptoms of brain fever are fever, headache and weakness. As the fever increase, neck pain, vomiting and trouble in speaking can be seen. In addition, Paralyisi might also affect the infected person.

    Never know brain inflammation / fever can also be, because of covid vaccine injury diagonised as JEV ? Especially Pfizer, whose side effect document runs 9 pages! containing almost all diseases, including Meningoencephalitis herpetic; Herpes simplex meningoencephalitis...

    This disease is more prevalent in rural areas like Bihar & UP & in most kids or people it isn't that life threatening, only a few percentage of malnourished kids die after the diagnosed infections. In Bihar only 29 cases in 2020 & 38 cases in 2021 were confirmed. The infections are during rainy season during June to December due to mosquito bites & vaccinating now is useless as any immunity won't last more than 3 months. Most JE infections exhibit mild symptoms (flu-like) or none at all. However, in some individuals, there may be an acute progression to encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), which can be life-threatening. Symptoms typically appear 5-15 days after being bitten. When compared to the population of our states or nation this isn't comparable to any epidemic level, as such any vaccination drives aren't necessary in war footing. More kids die in our country due to malnourishment & even the most propaganda state used as the best developed model Gujarat has more kids malnourished than our southern states. My advice to parents is exercise caution over enthusiasm to get the jabs as they contain toxic additives & adjuvants to enhance their effectiveness & they are causing more harm than any vaccines available in the market at present. Prevention of mosquito breeding grounds & bites & good nourishment is the best solution. As per doctors & scientists too many vaccines in short period of time can damage our immune system, & cause asthma, auto immune diseases & cancers due to failure of our damaged immune system. Choose wisely as no vaccines are studied for long term adverse effects & any reports are brushed under the carpet after a month & to expect all the above adverse effects won't be entertained by the vaccine industries or govt. The govt has filed a reply in the court that they are not responsible if anything happens as the third party vaccine producers are producing them. Cynthia bai take care not to get it as you are injured by covid vax.

    JEV vaccine is very safe and highly recommended for children in the age group of 2-15 in areas endemic with mosquitoes like DK, because of which malaria and filaria are so common here! Though JEV incidence is less, the disease being fatal, and with utter lack of awareness of the prodromal symptoms among the general population, it would be advisable to take the jab! BTW, nobody knows what reaction it will produce in people who have taken Covid vaccine, which time only will tell!!

    Thank you so much. But, recent developments in North India is that ppl die more of dengue i heard and many suffer typhoid. States like UP/Rajasthan/bihar numbers are high. I feel govt should focus more on dengue/typhoid/malaria. Pork consumption is the main cause of brain fever....... What do you say Sir?

    Cynthia, unfortunatelynfortunately for thypoid, dengue and malaria there are no vaccines, only treated by drugs; dengue is treated symptomatically while monitoring platelet count; in malaria there are two types, vivax and falciparum; one of them is cerebral malaria which is very dangerous and has a high fatality rate! Swines spread a lot of diseases to humans mainly swine flu and the other diseases associated with swine include ringworm, erysipelas, leptospirosis, streptococcosis, campylobacterosis, salmonellosis, cryptosporidiosis, giardiasis, balantidiasis, influenza, infection with pathogenic E. coli, and brucellosis. Normally, humans will only get infected by consuming half cooked pork meat or coming in contact with pig urine or feces with an open cut on the skin; humans get mostly infected by a tapeworm by eating half cooked pork which sometimes lodges a cyst in the brain, hydatid cyst; incidentally even vegetarians can get this through vegetables grown in contaminated water of feces; Leander Paes had got it, which was initially thought to be brain cancer!! I hope I am not putting a fear psychosis!!

    Ok Rudy sir thanks. I too read leafy vegetables/mushrooms should not to be consumed in rainy season....Reasons what you mentioned in your comment and because of worms/larvaes settle down on the leaves which cause health issues/amoebic dysentery etc.

    @ Rudolf, incidence of JE is nothing here & in those states where it is prevalent too is below even 50 number which means there is no need for this jab & it is only to save vaccine industries they are required. And a little hint of what future mandates will be with the introduction of Health ID & Account all will be indirectly forced to get them say within a few years around 5 or more vaccines will be mandated to get any healthcare in any hospitals every year. Just comply & you will be helping the vaccine mafia to thrive. Vaccine Pass Ports G20 has called to implement. @ Cynthia, Pork consumption is not the cause of brain fever or JE which is caused by a virus through mosquito bites only if they carry it. Same way Dengue or any other diseases caused by viruses have no medicines or vaccines that are effective, but the industry will advertise that & create fear through media to market their drugs. Do you remember our Tennis legend Leander Pais who got worm in his brain not by consuming the pork but by consuming vegetables produced with worm infested water irrigation. The worms lay eggs & when people defecate they contaminate the water body & they enter animals like pigs & grow there & when meat is not properly cooked they enter human gut. But in his case the vegetables carried the eggs & when it entered humans the eggs enter the muscles & any organ & start to grow there instead of its host pigs. He got it removed through brain surgery. So we have to wash vegetables properly & cook properly to avoid any infections. Lastly I want to remind my friends we have 1,20.000 viruses in this world even before we came into this world & we cannot protect ourselves through vaccines against all of them & we & our ancestors have survived from thousands of years with our God given immune system without vaccines. Anything introduced from outside is toxic to our body unless it is coming from our nature as our system is programmed to ingest them. Hope I cleared your doubt.

    Brain fever is a generic term and can have multiple reasons, but Japanese Encephalitis is primarily a rural disease. Transmitted by the mosquito vector "Culex tritaeniorhynchus" via a vertebrate host, mostly pigs or wild birds!!

    Japanese brain encephalitis vaccine cannot be compared to the experimental Covid vaccine which was a sham; it's efficacy and safety is well proven and in a place endemic to mosquitoes like DK and surrounding areas, it's highly recommended to take the jab as brain fever is a deadly disease with a high mortality! Only some precautions need be taken like as in a person having fever, pregnant and lactating women!!

    As far as I know, this is a proven vaccine with a high protectivity rate and it would be very much advisable to take it as this deadly brain fever is spread by mosquitoes, which are in abundance everywhere!!

    Cynthia DK,consuming Pig meat not properly cooked may cause Amoeba Problem I heard It can when properly treated it might wander to brain etc,I heard .But encephelities is caused by my virus and very fast.Today what is what diseases and vaccination in hundreds are causing some headaches to everyone.The other day itself heard of a girl had headache and fever,next day died .People are unsure.Tropical medicine experts are here best tip giver.

    Bacterias in pork will never die Under cooked" which is not properly refrigerated.......It's said, it should be preserved under zero degree temperature for around a week.......Some need fresh meat as they feel it will be tasty. But, main concern is of hotels ......They bring and cook.....

    More than fifty countries India delivered more than 160 doses of vaccines is a record break success during Covid. Here also in India it able to do cover 80% people with the population of 1400 million. Some of expatrites who left behind in overseas are hiding for one or other reason is omitted. Now one more vaccination prograame will be successful in twin districts.
