Mangalore : Beary Institute's Talent Hunt for Free Engineering Education

Mangalore, May 19: The Hindu, English daily in association with Bearys Institute of technology [BIT], Mangalore,  is conducting a talent hunt and career guidance program for II P U [+2 or equivalent] Science Students on 21st May, 2011. Ten selected students based on the aptitude test and interview will be awarded with free engineering education [free tuition fee + free hostel facilities] at BIT, Mangalore.

 "BIT, founded by the Bearys Group under the aegis of Bearys Academy of Learning is an institution with a difference. While India has produced high caliber Managers, holding coveted positions globally, why not Leaders and Innovators. Talent hunt is one such program where we look out for the future Leaders and Innovators and nurture them." Says the BIT media release.

The Hindu – BIT Bonanza, is held in two parts. Aptitude test is schedule for an hour and half in the forenoon followed by the career guidance program. Prof A.H.Sequeira, Dept of Humanities, Social Science and Management , NITK, Surathkal, will be guiding the participants on the various streams.

Transportation will be provided for the students and parents from Pumpwell Circle, Mangalore to BIT Knowledge Campus between 8.30am and 9.30am on the day of the event.  Lunch will be provided for the participants and parents at the venue.
