Mangaluru, Dec 13: A case was filed by mother of minor girl at Urwa police station regarding the Hindu girls roaming with Muslim youths at Kottara Chowki late in the night recently. One youth was arrested in connection to the case.

The case is filed under POCSO as one girl among the two was a minor and she was harassed by the youths.

On the Saturday December 10 night, right-wing activists had questioned two Muslim youths loitering with Hindu girls. Later, the police had arrived on the scene and taken the boys and girls to Urwa police station.

Urwa police have registered a POCSO case as per the complaint filed by the mother of the minor Hindu girl and are investigating further.

    POSCO should provide for a "correctional house" for the wayward girls who are within its protection. Not simply release them to their parents to "sin" again. A minimum of three months would do them good.

    As per the news: The girl was roaming freely with boys. When right-wing activists had questioned two Muslim youths; one of the girls realized al of a sudden that she was harassed; and the boys were arrested under POCSO Act. This is the sanskari way adopted by the girls to play safe.

    Donot blame parents. Nowadays lifestyle and trend is not like earlier than 90s. Girls go out for group study or stay over with a friend and later name is used to do this roaming. Opposit attracts, gifts and mobile charging is very attractive. Those who blaned parents here you are lucky you dont have a problem with your daughter, others inspite of good advise to kids they dont follow instructions

    Parents are at fault. Why you parents were ignorant when your minor girls didnt return home on time??? Did you inquire where they were going ? Which friends ? When activists caught your presence of mind awoke ? Disgusting...How come you all allow your daughters to roam till late? Be thankful to god girls are safe. First police should do thorough investigation of the parents of all those girls...irrespective of all castes..

    Dal meh kuch kala heh. First of all how can a minor girl remain outside till late night? If she was not at home, they should have approached police to register FIR. If the parents are so negligent what you can expect from a teenager? both parties are at fault and as usual boys are at receiving end.
