Just take a round around shanty boarding lodgings in Mangalore and see for yourself how various shades and sizes of women are soliciting openly enticing men; some time back, I was shocked to see women from young to middle age soliciting near a leading wholesale store in Hampankata in broad daylight; then you know how established is this business; most of the income to these lodge owners comes from these jobless women!!

If we continue to view this menace as women always the victim it would reach enormous proportions. Today even college hostel students in some cities are entering this profession for easy money. Adding to it the hafta business by law enforcement to turn a blind eye. In this region uncontrollable urge of chopped headless matchsticks to quench thirst to burnout is a reason.

Who takes and enjoy with college hostel students? As long as men show greed of their easy money and accompany them ...they must be going. Because men show interest, this will continue. If men stop throwing money and sacrifice to control their lust and greed for sex, any hostel student have the daring and jump on a man and extract money from him by force ? Why pointing fingers at women only ? Who are the pimps ? Who are the agents ? Who are the middle men ? Who are the lodge owners/managers? Please clarify ...
