Three booked for attempting forceful religious conversion in Tumakuru

Tumakuru, Dec 19 (IANS): Karnataka police have booked three young missionaries, including two girls, for allegedly attempting to forcefully convert Hindus into Christianty in this district of the state, police said on Monday.

According to police, one Ravi, a resident of Maraluru Dinne in the limits of Jayanagar police station in Tumakuru city, had lodged a police complaint regarding it.

On Sunday evening, the missionaries who were carrying out conversion activities in the Maralur Dinne area, came to Ravi's residence and started belittling Hindu Gods.

As per the complainant, the accused said that he can get God's blessings only if he turns into a Christian. They also assured him of off protection if he gets converted with his family.

They further told him that celebration of Hindu festivals like Ganesh festival is a blind belief and that there is only one God. There are no 36 crore Gods as is believed in Hinduism, he alleged.

On learning about the incident, Bajrang Dal activists rushed to the complainant's residence and confronted the accused.

The police were informed who questioned the missionaries.

Further investigation into the matter is on.

Dear Hindus, The core reason for people converting to other religion is discrimination from Brahmins. There was an news article about an IT company , where a Dalit person was abused by his Brahmins Manager because he was of lower caste, And he converted to other religion. Brahmins have an Ideology that they are Masters and others are slaves. And they want to keep it like that. But other Hindus are so innocent and they fight for them. Guys wake up !.

There is only one God and we all call him with different names according to our religions ,sekte or groups Everyone claims that this is the true God.But noone is seen him but believe that there is a super macht is there .Some dont believe as in real life too.Sure we Pray to him for favours and in sickness danger s etc.Of course I too believe in him.But I know that one group of people who are engaged in this work have to go to people to preach and bring them religion by.They have to give books or leaflets to others and collect money for religious purpose.I dont name it here.Otherwise they have to undergo threat to life or ask money from their Parents. Many have suicided.Their children should avoid all wordly things too.I dont know who these are in India and teach christianity.I condemn them.

How do we know how many gods there are? May be none at all. India should get a Mao - to chase all gods out for some time. Then India will catch up with China and US. Otherwise we will be too busy fighting among ourselves about the number of gods.

36 crores then now should be nearly 8 billion gods as Holy Scripture says "You are gods or children of the Most High." or All are gods! Irrespective of religions!

This wasteful exercise of forcing someone into any faith is nonsense... Every adult has his own intelligence and follows what is good to him or her... Christians have several among themselves who need attention... Better make the namesake faithful really faithful rather than preaching into different faiths... This is modern age and people have information at their fingertips... There is no need to waste energy and resources in such futile acts...
