Kundapur, Dec 19: The department of mining of geology under the guidance of their senior scientist Sandeep G U has confiscated on the basis of public complaints two lorries that were engaged in transportation of sand without permit at 12.30 pm on December 19.

A case in this connection has been registered and the custody of the lorries has been handed over to the Gangolli police station.
