Daijiworld Media Network – Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Dec 22: A video has gone viral on social media in which a man, member of a cooperative society, took the staff of the society to task and was involved in a scuffle with them on the matter of fraud in society.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at Kavala Muduru agricultural coop society of the taluk. The man accused the staff of taking a loan in his name to the tune of lac of rupees and in a fit of rage asked them when they are going to repay the same to him. In the process he tried to assault and manhandle the staff of the society.

As the scuffle and verbal abuses of the member continued, the officer of cooperative society, who is holding an inquiry with regards to the misappropriation of funds in the society, as per high court order, asked the member to give a statement to him. Then the enraged customer went to the officer and raise his grievance.

The staff of the society, who were assaulted by the member, got admitted to a primary health care centre. Though the matter reached Punjalakatte police station, no case has been filed as of now.

Honest people..??? Seriously? All of the so called top leaders are on bail. The numerous scams mirror this fact. Public has taught them a lesson by booting them out of their home constituencies . The honest people are now limited to a safe muslim constituency elsewhere.

Exactly! One more thing that is common is after 2014 is, calling and inciting for protests and then hiding inside the houses , bashing online with fake ids . When other faction have to face the heat in their rear. We saw it in the CAA protests.

After Covid-19 it may be Coop-23 to rock the ordinary lives... Mushrooming of coops without credentials and promise of seemingly untenable high interests offered are matters of grave concern... Crores of Rupees are under the control of inefficient board members... This is just a tip of the ice berg yet...
