Puttur, Dec 24: Dr Supreet Lobo who runs Jossy’s Ayurvedic Hospital in Dr K G Bhat building in Uppinangady and Balli Ayur Grama at Nekkilady was awarded PhD in Ayurveda from Utkal University of Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
Dr Supreet Lobo presented a thesis titled ‘A comparative clinical study of Agnikarma with Suvarn Shalaka and panchadhatu Shalaka in Janusandhgata Vata W S R to Osteoarthritis of Knee Joint’. This was a research done on knee.
Dr Supreet completed his primary and secondary education at Jnanodaya Bethany and PU education from St Philomena’s College. Later, he did BMMS degree from SDM Ayurveda University of Hassan. Dr Supreet, who was active in NSS, had participated in the Republic Day Parade of 2008.
He has secured MS (Ayurveda) in general merit from ITRA (Institute of National Importance), which is the top organization in the world in Ayurveda. He has also done two years of PG diploma in yoga and naturopathy.
Dr Supreet is the son of the late Jossey and Irene Lobo, residents of 34-Nekkiladi village. He is married to dentist Dr Shainy Pais. At present he runs Jossy’s Ayurvedic hospital at Uppinangady and Balli Ayur Grama at Nekkiladi.
