Mangaluru: Surathkal murder - Innocent Jaleel killed for politics, says brother

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Dec 25: The brother of the deceased young businessman Jaleel who was stabbed to death by a bikeborne duo in Surathkal, has alleged political motive behind the murder.

Speaking to media on Sunday, December 25, Jaleel's brother Mohammed said, "When we were at our residence he was murdered. He was innocent and not involved in any political activity or any organisation. He was staying with his wife and children at Katipalla. He was making a living running a shop and reached home after work in the evening. He shared good bonding with people of all religions. Two bike-borne miscreants murdered him. For 15 years, he owned the shop. He had no enemies. An innocent man has been killed for politics. We urge that justice is done and the real culprits are arrested."

It may be recalled that Jaleel was stabbed to death with a knife by miscreants before fleeing the scene in Surathkal on Saturday, December 24 in the evening at Netangady, Katipalla.
