Decision on Cabinet Expansion After Assembly Session - Yeddyurappa

Mangalore, May 25: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa who will be participating in former union minister V Dhananjaya Kumar's 60th birthday celebrations at Sri Bhagwan Sabha Bhavan in Venoor, Beltangady on Wednesday May 25 landed at Bajpe Airport at 5.50 pm by a special flight. This is CM’s second visit in a week's time.
 
Speaking to reporters, Yeddyurappa said that a decision on cabinet expansion would be taken after the end of the forthcoming assembly session. Also, he said that a delegation from the state would be sent to the centre to urge support price for paddy crop. He added that he has already written two letters to the central government in this regard.

On pending compensation for kin of crash victims, he said the state government has already done with the process of disbursing the due compensation to the victims' kin.

Speaking on some Congressmen's demand for governor's recall, he called the new twist in the political imbroglio a 'miracle'.

The CM brushed aside the possibility of speaker Bopaiah resigning from his post. The BJP-led state government is on the verge of completing three years, and in the next two years the focus will be on development works and also on bringing positive changes in the way the government machinery works, he said.
 
After the function in Venoor, he will arrive by road and stay overnight in the city. The CM will leave for Bangalore from Bajpe airport on Thursday May 26 at 8 am.
