Udupi, Dec 26: “The BJP is a national party. Numero Uno in India. Several political parties have born before and will get formed in future also. But there is no loss or threat to BJP from them. We have faced a party like Congress,” said Nalin Kumar Kateel, state BJP president.

Nalin was responding to the query of media on the formation of new political party by Janardhan Reddy, former minister in BJP government.

He said that BJP will speak to Janardhan Reddy. “Already the matter is discussed with Sriramulu and he has assured that he will speak to Janardhan Reddy. Later all senior leaders will meet and take a decision,” he said.

“We all have listened to a song in which a beggar dreams of becoming big. Former minister and leader of opposition Siddaramaiah’s situation is similar to the beggar of that song. He will never become a CM again,” said Nalin.

Nalin further said, “It is really unfortunate that Congress is trying to take political mileage out of the murder of Jaleel of Surathkal, who was killed on the night of Saturday. The government will take strict action about this murder case. We have given instructions to police in this regard.”
