VHP demands action against couple who offered Namaz in front of MSU Sanskrit department

Vadodara, Dec 27 (IANS): Vishva Hindu Parishad activists on Monday demanded action from the authorities of the Maharaja SayajiRao University against a couple who offered Namaz in front of the Sanskrit Department.

Since last Saturday, one video clip and photos are in circulation on social media, in which a Muslim couple is seen offering Namaz of before the Sanskrit Department, a clip of which has irked right wing activists.

A delegation led by VHP's joint secretary Kartik Joshi met the university authority and demanded inquiry and action against the couple.

The university's defence is that on Saturday, second year Bachelor of Commerce exams were going on, so many students and their parents were on the university campus, so it was difficult to keep tab on every one, but now students will be counselled and explained that on the education campus, such activities should be avoided, said Lakulish Trivedi, Public Relation Officer of the University.

The Sanskrit Department Dean, Rampal Shukla, said that he has not seen the video clip or has any idea that any such incident occurred in front of the department.

MY DEAR VHP ACTIVITES. IF THEY HAVE PERFORMED THE NAMAAZ PRAYER. YES IT COULD BE, THAN WHAT IS THE PROBLEMS FOR YOU, ANYONE LOST ANYTHING DUE TO THIS. EVERY ONE HAS TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT, PRAYER IS A OBLIGATORY ONE. IF SOME ONE IS TRAVELLING TO ONE PLACE TO OTHER PLACE, DURING THEIR JOURNEY, IF THE PRAYER TIME COMES AND IF THEY DONT GET ANY MOSQUE OR ANY SHELTER, THAN THEY MIGHT PRAY IN THE ROAD SIDE. IN THIS CASE NO ONE CAN ASK WHY THEY ARE PRAYING ALONG THE ROAD SIDE, HENCE THERE IS NO ISSUE TO EITHER DISCUSS OR TROUBLE SOME ONE IN THIS CASE, SO IT IS OUR REQUEST TO BEHVE EVERYONE AND DO NOT CREATE PANIC IN THESE TYPE OF ISSUES

Kashmir pandits were secular and were worried about inflation. They considered Muslims as brothers but they were betrayed.

Extra behavior is a specialty of every religion... Couple could have chosen a quieter place to be with God... One who filmed could have controlled his Adrenalin... Generally VHP and connected people could have passed it as a non event... Hangama is what people want and yearn for....

@prakash, Manipal, I agree with you principally. But, we must offer prayers 5 times a day on known times. What could anyone do if he/ she doesn't find a peaceful place at that time?. He/ she has to offer prayers at the place available nearby. ( Better to postpone it until one gets a peaceful place). But, what is the problem with VHP? Don't they see photos of their gods/ goddesses hanging on school?

@Rajesh, Udupi You are not specific in your comment. Please clarify. Do you mean that you got disrespected if Muslims offer prayer at open place or school premises?

Yes, you cant just chose a random place to do your religions duty.. If you are stuck in a traffic jam would you control your urge or open your book? Your faith should permit you to apply common sense..

@Rajesh, Udupi, We use the book that teaches how to control our urge. But in Khajuraho there is no limit to visualize the urge. You see erotic sculptures inside what?.

@Rajesh, Your mind is so under- developed that yo cannot differentiate between the types of urges. Not all urges (needs/ wants) fall under same category. An urge can be categorized as anything form the following: Unlawful/ Not recommended/ Allowed/ Recommended/ Obligatory. A sensible person is able to differentiate between them and apply the suitable protocol while fulfilling to satisfy the urge. Hope you are clever enough to understand the same.

Soon it will come that the air we used for breathing is made with colour. Green colour, orange colour and white colour. If the air not belongs to that community colour they should not breath that.
