Udupi, Dec 28: A teacher of Alangar government junior primary school under Perdoor village was found sleeping on the portico of the school after consuming copious amount of liquor.
Krishnamurthy is the teacher, who is supposed to give a good future to the students of the school, but was found sleeping in an inebriated state.
Perdoor gram panchayat president Devu Poojary, vice president Chethana Shetty, gram panchayat member K Tukarama Nayak, member of school development committee Ramesh Poojary, member of Baidarshi Friends Sathish (Annu), villagers and social workers informed the matter to zonal education officer and urged to suspend the erring teacher.
