Mangaluru traffic police goof up – Car driver fined for pillion rider not wearing helmet

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Dec 30: A car driver was shocked as he received a traffic fine notice saying that his pillion rider was not wearing a helmet. He was asked to pay a fine of Rs 500.

The notice is served based on the traffic violation that took place at Mangaladevi in the city on November 29. The notice reached the car driver on December 22.

In the details of the violation column it is mentioned ‘car’ and in the mode of violation it says ‘Pillion not wearing helmet’.

Representational image

The notice contains the place and photo of violation. A two wheeler is seen in the pic with pillion rider not wearing the helmet and at the same time a car is also seen at a distance. There is a possibility that when the notice was sent from the police automation centre error has occurred and the notice is sent to the car driver’s address instead of the two wheeler rider.

Its just an error. The License Plate Recognition or LPR is a very sophisticated SW. Especially when installed in a mobile device . A bit of movement and it reads the number from a different object close by. Gen these SW is installed on stationery cameras. In this case the same issue might have happened, the biker may have disappeared from the range and the device has read the car that was in the line of its vision.

More control is coming in the future ? Once Digital Currency even the bank account gets frozen, or what one can buy, what not ?? And Electric Vehicles, initially in the west, auto pilot control where one can go and where not, how many miles in the name of climate change, And apart from this Zero Carbon, Social (behaviour) credit system also ? Then no police only Artificial Intelligence and Surveilance through Advance Camera System in the name of Smart Cities ? All Ai, Digital, technological slavery planned by billionaires to enslave most of the humanity ?
