Sullia: Youth from Subramanya selected as lieutenant in Indian Army

Sullia, Dec 31: A native of Subramanya, Ajitesh P S has been selected as lieutenant in the Indian Army.

Ajitesh cleared the Combined Defence Service examination conducted by UPSC and examination conducted by Allahabad Service Selection Board. He is studying second MSc in forest research institute at Dehradun.

Ajitesh is the son of Vidyarathna, head teacher of Kumaraswamy educational institution of Kukke Subramanya and Srikrishna Sharma P, retired head master of Sri Gopalakrishna high school, Bilinele.

Ajitesh did his primary and secondary education at Kumaraswamy educational institute of Subramanya, PU at Puttur Vivekananda College and BSc in forestry from Ponnampet college of Madikeri.

    One great personality from Kirem Shriman walter Sequeira has served Indian Navy in the position of Commodore......and now retired...( ultimate position in Navy)....He is born in a poor/religious family....Did engg in NITK, Surathkal......No one published about him....Very simple/down to earth/gem of a person.....Its really very sad.....May god bless him abundantly

    Dear Prabhu, he got retired much before your china invaded. He did a lot to our country. Thats because of the courtesy and directions from the govt. Nothing these chiefs can do without govts advices....you know it very well. Now, lets see what newly appointed personnel do ? Whether they act according to how they want or according to govt.... ?? 😏😏

    Congratulations Ajitesh. To be selected directly as a lieutenant is extremely difficult. I know this, because out of some 500 candidates called for written test and later interview, they selected only 2 candidates for this direct lieutenant post. One among the 2 was my cousin Alfred Aranha, which was many years back.
