Mangaluru: Coastal Karnataka's Rockstar Roopesh Shetty is Big Boss Season 9 winner

Mangaluru Jan 1: Rockstar Roopesh Shetty emerged winner of Colours Kannada’s popular reality show Bigg Boss season 9. 

The final episode was telecast on Saturday, December 31.

Roopesh Shetty was one among the five finalists of Bigg Boss Season 9 along with Divya Uruduga, Rakesh Adiga, Deepika Das and Rupesh Rajanna.

Roopesh Shetty was the first finalist of Bigg Boss season 9 on December 26 where the host Sudeep announced his name.

Roopesh, who is known as 'Rockstar', maintained a very good track record in the show and achieved success to win the hearts of co-contestants as well as thousands of followers across the globe. Being a movie director, actor and TV-Radio host, Roopesh has created his identity in the entertainment industry.
 


 
Apart from entertainment background, Roopesh also gained much respect for his social works. He was on the forefront of providing food and medicine to the needy during the lockdown period. He is also very much popular in Karnataka for reaching out to the needy through various organizations and charitable institutions.

Earlier in the year, Roopesh Shetty won Bigg Boss Kannada OTT which helped him gain entry into Bigg Boss season 9.

Roopesh Shetty is a renowned face of coastal region, his participation in Bigg Boss has made him popular across the state.

Roopesh Shetty who had earlier acted in blockbuster Tulu movie Girgit is waiting for his next directorial Tulu movie Circus. Roopesh Shetty starrer Kannada movie Manku Bhai Foxy Rani will be released on January 13.
