Kasargod, Jan 1: A two-year-old child who was admitted to a hospital following an accident between a car and a bus in Haveri, died on Saturday, December 31 in the night taking the number of deaths in the accident to four.
The deceased two-year-old toddler is identified as Isa Mariya, daughter of Siyaad and Nishan who hail from Nusrat Nagar in Talangere of Kasargod. Isa Mariya was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hubballi before she breathed her last.
The couple's three-and-a-half year old kid Mohammed had earlier died in the accident. Also, Siyaad's father Muhammed (65) and mother Ayesha (62) had died in the accident and thus four members of the family have died in the accident.
Out of six passengers travelling in the car, two of them are undergoing treatment.
The mortal remains of all those who have died will be brought to Kasargod this evening for an autopsy, family sources said.
