Karkala: Five seriously injured after school tour bus overturns

Karkala, Jan 2: A bus carrying school children on tour overturned at Pajegudde bend near Nallur on Dharmasthala-Karkala state highway on Monday December 2. 

According to police, the students of Basaveshwara High School in Kottur of Vijayanagara district were travelling in the bus for the tour programme. Three teachers and two students are seriously injured. Locals rescued the injured and got them admitted to hospital.

The trip was organised on a private bus.

The police are investigating what is the exact cause for the toppling of the bus. Karkala rural police are investigating the case.
