Mangaluru: BJP will bag over 150 seats in upcoming polls, clean sweep DK – Nalin Kumar Kateel

Mangaluru, Jan 2: BJP state president and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “We are just 100 days away from the assembly elections and we need to prepare for it. After travelling all over the state as the president of the BJP, I am confident that our party will gain more than 150 seats in the state and will clean sweep Dakshina Kannada (DK) district as well. The BJP’s aim to have permanent victory is for transformation and developing ‘New India’. After Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi came to power, India has transformed tremendously. Places like Kashi, Badrinath and Kashmir have transformed. Awarding Padma Shri to Harekala Hajabba and Mahalinga Naik is one such example for transformation in the country. We need to achieve permanent victory to have such transformation in India.”

He was speaking after inaugurating Booth Vijaya Abhiyana on Monday January 2 at TV Raman Pai hall. Booth Vijaya Abhiyana will be held from January 2 to 12.

Nalin further said, “Congress leaders Siddaramaiah, D K Shivakumar and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge have started stitching shirts assuming that Congress will come to power. Competition has also started in Dakshina Kannada where three leaders namely U T Khader, Ramanath Rai and J R Lobo have started stitching shirts to take oath assuming that they will become ministers. The Congress need not worry as BJP will be in power for the next 15 years. In the coming days, not a single Hindu will work for Congress.

“The booth committee needs to be reviewed in the next 10 days, page pramukh needs to be strengthened, form WhatsApp group of the booth, hoist BJP flag is every house, booth committee meeting should be held, and corporators should relentlessly work for the next 3 months with one vision of acquiring more number of votes than before.

“During the Congress government, it was very difficult to hoist the Indian flag in Kashmir. PM Modi gave a befitting reply and today flag is hoisted in Kashmir. Our national flag got its due respect when students were airlifted from warzone are at Ukraine too.

“When Shivakumar became the Congress state president, the party got divided into three and when I became the state president of the BJP, the party became one. While the Congress continuously raised slogans like ‘Garibi Hatao’, it was PM Modi who actually eradicated poverty. In the last one year, several people-friendly schemes were introduced. The Congress turned into three groups, they raised slogans against our government claiming it as a ‘40% government’ and also ran the ‘PayCM’ campaign. So far, not even a single complaint is filed. Siddaramaiah will definitely go to jail before elections and his scams will be revealed. Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah are the most corrupt, the Congress is 100% corrupt, and the Congress is a synonym to corruption. It is the father of corruption.

“If Congress comes to power, the ban on PFI and KFD will be definitely withdrawn. PFI and KFD leaders will roam on the streets and enter into our houses. Leaders like Vedavyas Kamath, Harikrishna Bantwal and Monappa Bhandary will not been alive, they will also withdraw the law against conversion and cow-slaughter. The BJP is the party which will bring law for love Jihad. If Congress come to power, they will surely withdraw such laws.

“The NIA and DIG termed the cooker blast incident as an act of terrorism while the Congress favoured terrorism which clearly shows that the Congress belongs to terrorist party.

“Under Modi, Mangaluru has seen transformation with Smart City. The BJP will come to power with more than 150 seats and Khader will be sent home this time,” he said.

Nalin also asked party workers not to discuss about roads and drainage with the voters but to discuss that the BJP government will bring law against love jihad. He also asked to promote BJP through Yakshagana as well as election is just 100 days away.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath, district BJP president Sudarshan Moodbidri, MLC Prathap Simha Nayak and others were present.

Look at this anpad Nalin's comment "The Congress need not worry as BJP will be in power for the next 15 years. In the coming days, not a single Hindu will work for Congress." Clearly means BJP has support from brainless people like him which wil ultimately help them win the election. Hate between Hindu Muslim is more important for BJP_RSS than progress of this nation. Shame shame BJP_RSS

Getting seats in excess of 150 or even aspiration is fine. But what is the change that is on offer? Is it more of the same? Yeddy-Eshwarappa feud, no tangible leadership and worst, no vision either that can connect with Centre. Frankly, Karnataka is the breakthrough for BJP in South, but the way things are conducted here are not the best start one would have anticipated for proliferation of BJP in South. Strong leadership and performance are the need of the hour. Congress has more or less surrendered to the design of DKShi in Karntaka. JDS has lost ingenuity except an opportunistic Kingmaker. AAP has virtually destroyed Delhi and Punjab. So, BJP, better keep ears very close to the ground or see its chances evaporate in thin air of establishing in South India.

I don't think BJP this time reaching even simple majority because of heavy anti incumbency of ruling party . Karnataka BJP CM innocent but very weak in decision taking and delivery , series of hindu activist murder , poor municipality work , 40% commission allegation diminished BJP's aspirant to come back in power . Karnataka Hindu outfit expected CM like Yogi of UP or atleast Fadnavis of Maharashtra , Pramod savanth of Goa and Shivraj singh of MP .

Even this was monitored by Shri Yediyurappa.. So it was a combination of Yediyurappa and possibly then Modi wave .... Now all know various issues .. no proper leader . Only bluster .. Added all round failures.. 40 % corruption.. no work happening.. ...any work with govt ..enormous delays ..

113 is required for a simple majority in K'Nataka assembly. Best that BJP has achieved on own is 104 MLAs in 2018. Before that was 100 and 90, 78 etc..To get 120 is best bet for party that too focussing on Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassana and Rural Bengaluru. If party can win around 20 seats from the 30 seats up for grabs in these areas, and retain the coastal belt, make slight gains in Bengaluru city, is enough for BJP to sweep to power with 120 plus.
