Mangaluru: Lucky escape for 4 auto passengers after vehicle overturns

Mangaluru, Jan 4: Four passengers in an auto including its driver had a lucky escape after the vehicle overturned at Asaigoli junction in Konaje police limits yesterday night.

The passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital with the help of the police and the locals.

The auto driver along with three others had attended a roce ceremony at Inoli and were returning towards Adyar late in the night when the driver lost control of the vehicle before getting overturned at the Asaigoli junction on the road.

Those injured in the accident were two women including an old woman and a man who were travelling in the auto belonging to the same family.

The police and the locals admitted them to a private hospital in Deralakatte. 

This incident has been recorded on a CCTV camera that has been stationed at the junction.
