Mangaloreans accord grand procession to Bigg Boss winner Rockstar Roopesh Shetty

Mangaluru, Jan 8: The grand procession of Bigg Boss winner season 9 Rockstar Roopesh Shetty was carried out from Nehru Maidan to Koragajja Shrine in Kuthar.

Scores of people gathered at Nehru Maidan and welcomed him. Bikes, cars, traditional pili dance and chende team was part of the procession to celebrate the victory of Roopesh Shetty in Bigg Boss season 9.

The procession was taken out from Nehru Maidan to Koragajja Shrine in Kuthar via A B Shetty Circle – Hampankatta – PVS – Bunts Hostel – Jyothi – Karavali Circle-Kankanady and Pumpwell.

 

He earlier received a grand welcome at Mangaluru International Airport where a large number of people, fans gathered to welcome him.

Mangaluru Jan 8: Bigg Boss season 9 winner Rockstar Roopesh Shetty received a grand welcome at Mangaluru International Airport on Sunday, January 8.

Roopesh Shetty emerged winner of Colors Kannada’s popular reality show Bigg Boss season 9 recently.

The final episode was telecast on December 31. Roopesh Shetty was one among the five finalists of Bigg Boss Season 9 along with Divya Uruduga, Rakesh Adiga, Deepika Das and Rupesh Rajanna.

Later a procession will be carried out from Nehru Maidan to Kuthar Koragajja Shrine. The procession will pass via A B Shetty circle – Hampankatta – PVS – Bunts Hostel – Jyothi – Karavali circle Kankanady – Pumpwell – Kutthar Koragajja shrine.

Roopesh, who is known as 'Rockstar', maintained a very good track record in the show and achieved success to win the hearts of his co-contestants as well as thousands of followers across the globe. Being a movie director, actor and TV-Radio host, Roopesh has created his identity in the entertainment industry. Apart from entertainment background, Roopesh also gained much respect for his social works. He was on the forefront of providing food and medicine to the needy during the lockdown period. He is also very much popular in Karnataka for reaching out to the needy through various organizations and charitable institutions

Earlier in the year, Roopesh Shetty won Bigg Boss Kannada OTT which helped him gain entry into Bigg Boss season 9.

Roopesh Shetty who had earlier acted in blockbuster Tulu movie 'Girgit' is waiting for his next directorial Tulu movie Circus. Roopesh Shetty starrer Kannada movie Manku Bhai Foxy Rani will be released on January 13.

    Almost all Indian reality shows are fixed....Waste of time...There is a possibility that votes don’t decide future of candidate,but the kind of content the give decides whether they are helping in getting TRPs! ...

    why are celebrities given so much importance? We should ideally be honoring defence personals, scientists and people who work on cutting edge technologies which make a difference to people's lives and not to those who win shows that just dump filth into people's minds
