Mangaluru, Jan 10: In a tragic incident that is reported from Surathkal, a student who was getting ready to go to school died of cardiac arrest.
Mohammed Hasim (17), a resident of Krishnapur, seventh block, is the boy who breathed his last. Hasim got ready to school on Monday January 9 morning. He suddenly collapsed due to head reeling sensation. Though family members rushed him to the nearby hospital, the doctor declared him dead. However, the family members took him to private hospital at Mukka with the hope of Hasim recovering. But unfortunately, Hasim had gone forever.
Hasim is the second son of Abdul Rehman couple, who have three sons.
Chaos prevailed at the private hospital in Mukka as parents of deceased Hasim wanted to take his mortal remains home. Doctor in the hospital insisted on post mortem. Former MLA Mohiuddin Bava intervened and made arrangements for the funeral of the boy.
