UP: Woman raped, kids plead for mercy

Shamli, Jan 10 (IANS): In a shocking incident, a 32-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man in an abandoned house in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district, while her two minor children, aged 2 and 10, pleaded for mercy.

According to the FIR, the main accused, Mohd Shehzad, 25, whom the victim knew, offered the the woman and her children a lift in his car.

Two of his accomplices were also inside the vehicle.

Once the woman and her children boarded the car, Shehzad drove to an isolated place and forcibly took the woman inside the abandoned house and raped her while the other two men stood guard outside with her children.

When some passers-by spotted the children and asked them what they were doing at the place, the two men fled.

SHO Pankaj Tyagi said: "The woman was sent for medical examination. The three men have been booked under IPC sections 376 (rape) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). The accused are absconding but teams have been deployed to arrest them at the earliest."

Really ,now rapes are not only increased but absolutely people have no fear of law and regulations.Govt is not at all bothered except when somebody from Wives from MLAs or govt.officials are victims Then will be fast it will be looked after. Why govt.is not looking at this as this is a malice to India too.Even when culprits are arrested will be released as either minor or what else.Hard punishment will not be given.

It’s becoming now more clear after the incident in Ckikmagalore where Sameer was instigated by BD to start a fight, so it’s the same repeating every where in the country where Muslims are targeted to be pushed into such incidents as the elections are approaching. If the victim knew the accused then it’s a conspiracy played by police and govt activists.

If rapists can be garlanded and given sweets because they had raped a minor of different religion, then how men will be deterred knowing well that their god-fathers would spare them and be given seat to contest. Women would vote for them . Who do you blame? Law or religion? Let us make our stand clear, whether we want rapist to be released pre-maturely because they belong to a particular religion!

This is too much. Rapes are increasing in India. Law is very soft on these rapists. There should be capital punishment for rapists and criminals.
