Dubai: Dulsco Medical Clinic to Hold Free Health Camps for Residents

Dubai, May 30: Dulsco Medical Clinic, one of the advanced medical facilities in the region will conduct a free medical camp for residents of Al Barsha, Greens, Al Quoz and Al Khail areas on Friday June 3. The camp is aimed at spreading awareness about health and fitness among Dubai residents and will be conducted in collaboration with Rashid Hospital’s cardiology team.

The all-day health camp, to be held at Dulsco Medical Clinic’s Al Quoz facility, will help residents to be examined by general physicians, internal medicine specialists, dentists, cardiologists and a team of paramedics  for heart diseases, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), cholesterol measurement, diabetes, dental, pulse rate, and obesity, among others. During the camp, to be held from 9 am to 6 pm, doctors will also offer one-on-one consultations and dietary counseling to the visitors.

"This health camp is an excellent opportunity for people to screen themselves for chronic and lifestyle related diseases," said Dr Shekhar Mehta, head of medical services at Dulsco Medical Clinic. "The initiative is aimed at early diagnosis of problems arising due to occupation, changing lifestyles and stress. We understand that such services are expensive in normal circumstances and beyond the reach of many people."
