M'lore: Tenderly Looking After Elderly: Vishwas Trust Holds Jumble Sale

Mangalore, May 31: A jumble sale was held at Valencia Church premises here for the cause of the elderly, recently.
 
The jumble sale was organized by Vishwas Trust. At the commencement of the sale Fr Roshan Crasta, assistant priest of Valencia Church offered a prayer for the success of the sale.  Fr Bonventure Nazareth, parish priest, Valencia, Dr Olinda Pereira, director, staff, volunteers were present.

The articles for the sale were collected by the staff and volunteers. Well wishers from the community had generously donated the items.
 
The collected amount will be utilized for the welfare of the elderly.

Vishwas is a non-profit voluntary service organization formed in the year 1999 by a group of socially committed individuals under the leadership of Dr Olinda Pereira. The main objective of Vishwas is to mobilize volunteer support to the elderly.
