Mangaluru, Jan 13: Two persons have been arrested from near Beeri junction for an alleged attempt to theft on Friday, January 13.
The Ullal police, during their rounds, found two persons sitting in dark near a shop holding rods. It seemed like they were planning to burgle an ATM, shops and a house in the vicinity.
Rayees Khan (23) from Mukkacheri and Mohammed Muzambil (28) from Kumpala are the arrested accused.
They were found in front of a shop near the Beeri Junction. When police questioned them the accused were unable to answer and were detained. A rod was also found in their hand which led to a suspicion that they were attempting a burglary.
