Udupi: Police Arrest Two for Planning MLC Kota Poojary's Murder

Udupi, Jun 2: In a surprise news, two people have been arrested by Kota police on Wednesday June 1 near Kotatattu panchayat office, for planning the murder of popular MLC, BJP leader Kota Srinivas Poojary. 

The arrested are Raghavendra of Hosanagar and Basheer, a resident of Siddapur Hosangadi. Police said that these have been plotting Poojary's murder with two other people, Handatti Santosh and Trasi Raghavendra, who are in jail.

The residents of the area have expressed shock over the news, as MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary is a well-accepted leader and has rarely had enmity with anyone. He is considered one of the clean politicians who gets along with all political leaders around the region.

Police are still not able to gather whether this was politically motivated or the result of a personal grudge.

    No doubt Srinivas poojary is a clean politician but doesnt mean that he has no enemies with in BJP.
    Raj,udupi.dont comment nonsense,how you know the exact reason when the police is still investigating?? If you are that much sure then why cant you go to police and help them in their incestigation.

    @ Raheema “ Samajjne waleko Eshara kafi hae” What to ask with our self!!!!!!!! The reason simple some people (??) don’t like good person. Its logic my friend. When you dip you figure in the honey bottle you will taste it and then wash your hands. So even if you are in politics you will do the same thing, all want to make money its natural. Question is more and less!!!! Please don’t point out BJP. Just question with you…. Please give me any party list in India who are not involved in any Scandals.
