Kasargod: Mother, 12-year-old daughter found dead at home

Kasargod, Jan 23: A mother and daughter were found dead at their residence at Kundam Gayi under Bedadka police station limits.

The deceased are identified as Narayani (46), wife of Chandra, resident of Kundamguyi Nirkayi and Srinanda (12), daughter of Chandra and Narayani couple are.

Narayani’s body was found hanging and Srinanda’s body was found in an adjacent room. Srinanda was a seventh grade student of Kundam Guyi School.

The incident came to light on Sunday January 22 night. Police are investigating further.

    It looks something fishy in this matter.Husband is on tour ,calling the neighbour to see why they dont respond to his call?When he went away and called them?Looks like he has something to do with it?May the souls rest in peace.Hope the crime or suicide will be cleared soon .

    As per India Post report, when Chandan's neighbor went to his house, the door was closed from inside. If there is some other exit from his house, it is possible Chandran could have murdered them. If there is no other exit, it proves that Chandran had not murdered them. There is a possibility, Chandran may have been responsible for his wife's suicide.

    Santhan M.Mumbai,may be you are right .Most of the houses in India have back door.Did anyone saw?Quite possible one closes door from inside goes from backdoor out?Why the hell mother and daughter both in his absence suicide?He calls from his tour ?One way one calls to speak.But in this case very suspicious.Hope things will be cleared soon.Did anyone notice they were hanging high or feet were touching the floor?

    While i appreciate you dear Santu sir, i totally agree with our great personality Rita madam. Always, she puts forth perfect points in every comment. It looks like she has vast experience in every social economic fields. Every house has back entry.....Even if you bribe, evenif the door is open, information will be "door was locked inside"....When its their own house, whats thr need of locking the bed room inside ? If they wanted to commit suicide they would have written letter and would have hunged so that ppl can enter easily....On the tourist bus, must have found one maari...who poisoned their lives....

    Both were made to hang in two different rooms Santan sir.....If they had intention of committing suicide, they could have done together. When house people come to know about paramours/illegal affairs arguments happen....In order to defend themselves and in order to control the news spreading outside, this is the easiest method men chose. Few months will be in jail and then one more bali ke bakre ke gale me mangala asutra.

    Life is uneven and often cruel... Poor kid suffered a grossly untimely painful exit from this world... It is not easy for any mother to do this... No one can imagine the level of anguish and helplessness felt by her... We can only pray to God to keep them in peace in His garden... RIP ...

    Her husband was working in a tourist bus and was going to Ooty by the bus. When he telephoned home, his wife and daughter did not respond. Then he telephoned to his neighbour to go to his home and to see why they are not responding to his telephone. Neighbour went and other things we read in the above article.
