Doha, Jun 5: The Mangalore Cultural Association (MCA) will present ‘The Vocal Touch’ for budding singers to prepare for a higher level of singing competition, the third time in succession.

In the past two editions, several budding Konkani singers of Doha, Qatar, have benefited from this workshop.

As before, Joseph (Jossie) Moras from Dubai, a renowned vocal expert, music educator, and choral director of Mangalorean origin will conduct the workshop on Friday June 17 at 3.00pm.

The venue will be announced later. This workshop is limited to all interested Mangalorean Konkani-speaking singers residing in Qatar, aged 15 years and above.

Meanwhile, MCA Qatar will host the third ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore’, a popular talent hunt contest for singers in 2012. It will be held once in two years for the Konkani singers in the Gulf.
