Mangaluru: Missing girl located, found married to lover

Mangaluru, Jan 30: Shivani (20), a resident of Surathkal third block and employee of a private finance company, who went missing, has been traced by police. She was found married to her lover.

Shivani presented herself in front of Kankanady police station officers on January 24.

She gave a written statement that she has married a youth whom she loved on her own will and she will live with him.

The police were concerned as it might be a case of love jihad. The lovers who went to Goa and Mumbai sold their two mobile phones to meet their expenses. Police traced the pair when they contacted their friends and tracked them through the address of money put through UPI.

    First of all parents should be happy to see their daughter now married and not fallen to some one else.But why marry so early and all of a sudden without money etc.?Could have waited .work collect money marry in a simple but without such fast track.Well they have to face real life .Congratulations to them wish all the best.

    @Ahmed:The highest massacre in India was of the kashmiri pandit minority community, so in their case... should their surviveing kins take arms. Even the family victims of the girls that were victims of the rape,acid attacks or conversion can do the same.But, there is some thing called 'Law' and all the people of any country living here are supposed to follow. If, as per your theory if at all..everyone had to become terrorists.If, injustice was met out to them.
