Karkala: Rs 36-Lac Visa Racket - Arun Roshan Mathias Arrested in Goa

Karkala, Jun 6: The town police arrested an overseas manpower consultant at Goa for duping 39 job aspirants of Rs 36 lac.

The arrested has been identified as Arun Roshan Mathias alias Siddarth, a native of Palli village near here, who was operating from Goa.

Arun was settled earlier in Mumbai and had been visiting Canada very often. He had also employed Francis, a criminal, to dupe the native job seekers here, informed sources.

Among many others, an overseas job aspirant Jaison, a native of Edu village, near here was cheated of Rs 50,000. A complaint has been lodged at the town police in this regard. The town police sub-inspector Pramod Kumar nabbed the accused Arun at Goa and held him in custody at the town police station.

    Oh many such incidents have taken place in Goa. All these white collar criminals think Goa is a safe haven for them. So many Mangies came to Goa and cheated Goans especially in the Investment Sector promising HIGH returns.

    Their modus operandi is one is a SHETTY and the other will be some PEREIRA..hand in gloves...cheats.

    A big salute to Mr.Pramod Kumar, Sub-Inspector. Sir we need like you people in Police Dpt. really proud of you sir, we heard about your gud jobs in overseas also and one request do not leave Karkala, every single person knows about ur achievement in Karkala and loves ur job style. If every police station have one Sub-Inspector and Inspector like u I bet people will deffinetly live in peace and faith over police deffinetly boost.
