Dubai: 'Sakath Sangeeth Saanz' Musical Fiesta on Nov 25

Dubai, Jun 7: 'Sakath Thottam' an association of parishioners of Thottam, Udupi spread around UAE are gearing up for thier grand fifth anniversary celebration with a mega musical event, 'Sakath Sangeeth Saanz' at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian Highschool, Dubai on November 25.

Alfred D'Souza, president of Thottam 'Sakath' assocation informed Daijiworld that at least six famous singers will be flown in from Mangalore, Mumbai and Goa to entertain musical loving crowd of UAE. The four-hour non-stop entertainment event will include top class Konkani music, comedy, dance and some new concept that presents traditional culture of Thottam, he said.

"Since there are several events being planned during the month of October and November in UAE, Thottam wants to inform all the Konkani music lovers to book the date well in advance" added Alfred.

A well known personality from Thottam locality will also attend the event as a guest.

    May there be showers of blessings on your interest and activity - 'Sakath Sangeeth Saanz'. We Thotomites are music lovers and especially in church choir. This is highly evident in the Sunday mass choir performed by each Vado in their respective turn, very competent and perfomed with utmost interest. We appreciate the support and encouragement received from our dear Parish priest, Reverend Father Fedrick D'Souza who is muscian himself. We are all blessed from His experiences in music for our St. Anna Maye. May Almighty God Bless us all.
