Udupi: Astro Mohan Bags Second Place in State-level Photography Contest

Udupi, Jun 11: Astro Mohan, senior photojournalist working with Manipal-based Kannada daily ‘Udayavani’ and president of Udupi press photographers’ association (UPPA), bagged the second place in the state-level photography contest.

The contest was organized by Karnataka Photographers’ Association, Bangalore.
His picture of rural sports won the second place in the ‘My Karnataka’ section.
Mohan has already won 17 state awards and 4 national awards so far.
Also, Janardhan Kodavoor vice-president of Udupi press photographers' association won
the third place in the wedding candid shots/events category.
The award winning picture was ‘Korala Dhara’.
