Mangalore: Prasar Conqni - 275th Episode of Compact Video Disc Released

Mangalore, Jun 12: Agnel’s Adventure released the 275th episode compact video disc of Prasar Conqni, weekly Konkani news TV channel and held commemoration of The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Award 2010 at Bejai Church Hall on Saturday June 11 at 5.00 pm.
Fr Dr Victor Machado, parish priest of Bejai church and Sri Esha Vittaladasa Swamiji of Sandeepani Sadhanashrama, Sri Kshetra Kemaru blessed the function.
Agnel Rodrigues, managing director welcomed the gathering and read out the path of Prasar Conqni briefly.
All the dignitaries were honoured with a floral welcome. The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Sri Esha Vittaldas Swamiji.
Speaking on the occasion he said that communication for socializing helps people improve their knowledge base and wit. He added that social worker is the one who works for the society rising above personal interests.
A Sadananda Shetty, chairperson of Shree Devi Education Trust presided. Anand Shetty, president, Press Club, Mangalore and J Krishnananda Rao were the chief guests.
On the occasion M B Sadashiva and Harini couple and Reuben D’Silva and Nishal Mascarenhas couple were honoured. A wheel chair was handed over to Akshatha on the occasion.
