He also thanked SPC Pramila D'Souza. “I extend my gratitude to my head of department and other professors for their support in academics. When I went to New Delhi, I was in a dilemma and worried about my academics. But, even then my lecturers supported me and told me to go ahead without getting worried about my studies. I thank my parents for motivating me at every step I took,” he said.
Former ship modelling instructor Parashuram K also lauded Prashant Koti for his discipline and dedication in learning. “I quit my diploma and joined the Navy and served there for 15 years. If you don't have the passion you cannot succeed. When you have an appetite to learn then that will help you reach the top. Prashanth is a humble and a passionate guy. I did not know that he was also a topper in academics. He listens more carefully to his gurus which could be one of the reasons for his success."

He has made our institution proud. On behalf of the management and faculty members, we wish to congratulate you .We sometimes look forward to role models but we have a role model in our own college. Our students have won gold medals in powerlifting and academics. They are making our institution proud and one among them is Prashanth. He has taken the name of our institution to New Delhi."
