Kasargod, Mar 2: The Chittarikkal station police, on Thursday, March 2, arrested two accused, Manikantan (31) and Pushparaj (42), both residents of Tamil Nadu, in connection with the theft of a transformer. The transformer had been purchased for installation at the Kerala Electricity Board's Nallombu section office but was stolen on the night of February 28.
After the assistant engineer filed a complaint with the Chittarikkal police, an investigation was conducted, leading to the arrest of the two accused. The police were able to recover the stolen transformer after taking the accused into custody.
According to reports, the accused were found dealing in scrap in Nileshwara Pallikere.
