Pakistani Delegation Visits NATO Headquarters


Brussels, Jun 17 (IANS): A Pakistani delegation visited the NATO headquarters here in Belgium to study the organisation's strategic communication network, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

The 10-member delegation comprising spokespersons, and public relations and communication experts of various Pakistani organisations was headed by secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Taimur Azmat Osman.

Major General Athar Abbas, director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) that handles media operations of the Pakistani military, said NATO had invited the delegation to raise awareness in Pakistan about its role and engagements in Afghanistan.
