Mangaluru, Mar 13: Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra of the BJP was held at the central grounds of Shantinagar.
Addressing the public, MLA Dr Bharath Shetty said, “We ask votes in the name of development and Hindutva. Mangaluru north constituency is moving in direction of progress. Let us give attention to developmental works. Nine IITs are established in our state in the past nine years. Nine airports are established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Congress leaders were saying that the BJP will not build Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. But now it is built.”
Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said, “People who broke India are trying to join it now. Congress party that ruled the country by dividing it is giving moral lessons now. Let us bring the BJP to power once again.”
Former minister Eshwarappa said, “The Congress is destroyed in whole of the country. Only in Karnataka it is still breathing. In this election, it will die. Siddaramaiah gathers people by paying Rs 500. But there are workers in the BJP who do not expect anything. Siddaramaiah will not win this time.”
Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant, state BJP leaders Kota Srinivas Poojary, Jayananda Anchan, Jagadish Shenava, Tilak Raj Krishnapura, Prabha Malini, Ganesh Hosabettu, Kasturi Panja and others were present.
