Mangalore: Backtrack from Oath-taking in Dharmasthala, advises Pejavar Seer

Mangalore, Jun 21: Hurt by the ugly political developments between Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and former CM H D Kumaraswamy, who have reportedly devised to treat God as a mediator and testify before Lord Manjunatha of Dharmasthala their respective 'truth', Pejavar seer Vishveshateertha Swamiji has asked the duo to backtrack from oath-taking on Monday June 27.  

He was speaking to presspersons on Tuesday June 21 on the sidelines of Guruvandana Tulabhara function organized for the seer at the residence of Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura here in the city. I personally believe that the move by both the political bigwigs will not augur well for them and thus I am against any such oaths. The mutt too does not sanction such arrangement. The move will bring bad effect on the state and will certainly be a precedentn for bad culture.

On a query as to whether he spoke on the issue to Dharmadhikari Dr Veerandra Heggade, he said that, "I have neither spoken to Heggade nor the duo. It is just my suggestion," he said and added that he is ready to assit the duo to come to a consensus and solve the matter between them through different means.

However according to political experts, the duo have already decided to go in for oath-taking in front of the Lord Manjunatha at Dharmasthala.

    If the news item is about the oath taking of two of the most corrupt politician , I wonder why so much Photographic publicity is given to a purely private function of Pradeep Kumar Kalkura. Wonder if the occasion is used to build the images of a a few others also.

    I sincerely feel that the former & the present CM should accept the advice given by Pejavar Seer and visit Dharmasthala to pray Lord Manjunatha and regret for all the mistakes & sins committed by them.
    And with a fresh mind let them take an oath to serve the people of Karnataka in a most appropriate & dignified way.

    Yeddy can accept the suggestion of this Baba....
    From the tele interviews, it appears Kumaranna got lots of evidence and bold enough to face any oath.. From the Seer Baba suggestions it looks even so called god is confused about who is telling truth..

    this statement could come for one of the following reasons :
    1. may be yeddyurappa has asked the swami to give a statement as he fears something might happen for testifying lies
    2. or may be the swami is worried that if something happens to yeddyurappa, then the channel of funds will dry up!!!

    neeway, nothing is gonna come out of this drama

    The issue is in advance stage.If any one backtrack would be considered as "SULLA" Anyway unilateral decision @ this stage may ruin somebody's political future and therefore an amicable settlement through Seer of Udupi and Shri Kshetra Dharmasatakla Dharmadhikari DR Veerendra Hegde might helpful.However there could be a notion that the incident which HDK raised might be really happened. God save Karnataka.

    Pejavar Seer, Yeddy to tried to brng consensus between himself & HDK, by offering him a share in his booty, now what new consensus you will bring between both of them????? You went to Delhi and sit along with Baba Ramdev and same night Delhi police wiped him out. Baba has lost his identity now. You where lucky enough, took late flight and landed at Banglore. Dont be tense, its Tom & Jerry cartoon film, take a break n enjoy.

    I fully endorse the views of seer Sree Vishweshwara Theertha Swamiji.Oath taking by the duo at the holly place is not in the interest of both leaders or state but bad culture to bring the name of devine place for poliitical purposes.
    The event will not occur any way.
