Mangaluru, Mar 20: MLA U T Khader said, “The state BJP government is on its death bed. It has only 35 days more left to survive.”
Addressing the media here on Monday, March 20 Khader said, “As garbage is not being collected, public are facing health and hygiene issues. The state government neglects the common man. Civil servants are conducting strikes. In 2014, for the first time, former chief minister Siddaramaiah made direct recruitment on the basis of seniority for civil servants. Why has the present government failed to give benefits to the civil servants? They are provoking the common people to protest to get the basic benefits which are required. The Congress government never created problems for the common people.
“Villages are facing drinking water problems. The BJP government is least bothered about the problems faced by its citizens. Soon after the budget, Rs 30 lac will be given for emergency works. Not even that amount is used for the common people. They are running the government for corruption.
“The first year degree students are wondering if they can write their upcoming exams as their results are not yet announced. The university does not have cards to print the certificates. There are no cards to print at RTO for RC and license. Further, mother and children protection cards (thayi card) are also not provided. There is no one to respond to the problems faced by the public as the government officials are on election duty on the ‘40% Yatra’. The administration has completely collapsed,” he said.
Khader also said, “Urigowda and Nanjegowda are fictional characters. I did not know there is a different history behind the death of Tipu Sultan”.
On Siddaramaiah’s election plans, he said, “Siddaramaiah will himself decide from which constituency he wants to contest the election. No matter where he is placed in 224 seats, he will win with a huge majority. He is be happily welcomed in my consultancy too.”
