Udupi, Mar 23: Prizes were distributed to the winners of ‘Godali Sadagara’ crib photo contest organized by Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises and Uzwaad Konkani fortnightly on Wednesday March 22.
The competition was held as part of the Christmas celebrations and was sponsored by Tanishq Jewellers Udupi, World of Titan Udupi, Titan Eye Plus and Cottonking.
Maxim Saldanha, business associate Tanishq jewellery Udupi, World of Titan Udupi, Titan Eye Plus, and Cottonking and Kishore Gonsalves, managing director Kishoo enterprises distributed the prizes to the winners.
Addressing the gathering, Maxim Saldanha said, “Today, the practice of making cribs has reduced, but through this competition, Daijiworld has encouraged the people to make cribs. I congratulate both Daijiworld and the participants for showing interest.”
Sharing their experience about the competition, Ramston Monteiro of Team Vamanjoor opined, “Today’s youths are not so interested in making cribs. Many complain about various issues. I thank Daijiworld Udupi and all the organizers for such a competition.”
Clody Lewis, Hangarkatta Udupi said, “I am grateful to Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises and Uzwaad fortnightly for organizing such a competition. This competition is a great encouragement for all of us. I congratulate all the participants for their immense participation. All the participants should continue to participate in the upcoming years too.”

The respective prizes were Rs 7,000, Rs 6,000 and Rs 5,000 along with a trophy and a certificate.
Consolation
ICYM Sasthan, St Anthony Charitable Institutions, and Jeppu Pompei Youngsters Club, were awarded with Rs 1,000 each along with trophy and certificate.

The respective prizes were Rs 5,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 3,000 along with a trophy and a certificate.
