Dubai: KEL to Organise Workshop on Effective Team Building

Dubai, Jun 22: Kanara Entrepreneurs Ltd (KEL), Dubai will hold a session on ‘Impact of a Team on the Success of a Business’ at Excelsior Creek Hotel, Bur Dubai, on Saturday June 25 at 6 pm.
The session will be held as part of their member networking. This event is exclusive to members only. It will focus on team building and effectively demonstrate the power of an effective team.
Members will be randomly grouped into several teams and there will be team activities that use the same strengths as starting and managing one's own business – from idea generation to effective implementation.
The purpose is not just to know other members but to know their strengths and see how effectively they could network with other members and learn from their expertise and strength.
Dr Nelson D’Souza, head, leadership and management development, Emirates NBD will be the co-ordinator.
About Dr Nelson D'Souza
Dr Nelson heads leadership and management development function at Emirates NBD – the leading banking and financial services group in the Middle East.
He is a leadership development professional with a postgraduate degree in human resources and a doctorate in Social Sciences with over 20 years of international experience in Industry and Academia. He has a proven track record in human resources (including training, management development, organizational change and leadership development) spanning markets in South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East. He is an adjunct faculty for over 15 years at various premier business schools in India, Australia and UAE. He has worked closely with world’s top business schools and management gurus (including Dr Robert Blake) in designing varied learning initiatives and conducting empirical research
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, Australian Institute for Training and Development and founder vice chairman of the HR Fusion – a UAE based HR professional development forum.
