Mangaluru, Mar 25: “The BJP has the feeling of calling a thief as thief is wrong. The 56-inch chest Narendra Modi is showing himself as a coward in the whole country,” said leader of opposition of legislative council and senior Congress leader B K Hariprasad at a press conference that was organized on the issue of disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as MP.

Hariprasad further said, “We will hold legal and political fight on the action taken on Rahul Gandhi. The black cloth that is worn across the eyes of the God of justice in court is unveiled now. This is a really dangerous development. All rules and regulations of constitution are thrown to the wind. This shows how scared is Modi about Rahul Gandhi.

“The process of disqualification of Rahul Gandhi is questionable. No action is taken on people who asked for genocide, cutting of legs and hands of opposition parties. People who are asking for genocide in their speeches are roaming freely. There is one law for BJP and other one for rest of the people. No action is taken on people who gave speeches of hatred and disturbance of communal harmony,” he said.

Speaking on cutting reservation of Muslims, Hariprasad said, “This is a plot to withdraw the reservation completely. In 2015, Mohan Bhagwath said in Bihar that they will withdraw reservation if they attain power. Joshi said that it is not possible to run the government under the existing constitution.

“In BJP the actors are acting as per the directions of the people who hold the power. This is a completely anti-reservation policy. These are crocodile tears. Earlier people used to apply ghee to the nose. Now they are applying on the head. When ghee was applied to the nose one could smell. But now they are applying on head asking people to comb hair nicely,” he said.
