Beltangady: 800 Policemen Deployed to Handle CM's Visit

Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Jun 24: Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, who had challenged former CM, H D Kumaraswamy, to vouch for the truthfulness of the allegations he had levelled against the former in the presence of Lord Manjunatha in Dharmasthala on Monday June 27, has since changed his mind. But, by announcing that he would reveal his final plans on Sunday June 26 evening, he has kept the concerned on the toes.

On Mondays, Dharmasthala experiences heavy rush of devotees, as it is considered auspicious for worshipping Lord Manjunatha. A number of ministers, their followers, and BJP activists are expected to congregate at the temple to buoy the spirits of their leader.

Naturally, the district administration expects a number of JDS stalwarts and party activists at the venue on Monday on the occasion of the visit by their state president. The number of curious onlookers will also be quite high.

To handle any eventuality arising out of the likely visit by people opposing each other, the district administration as a precautionary measure, has arranged through the police department to deploy 800 policemen to look after law and order situation in the temple town on Monday.

In all likelihood, taking customary divine vow in the presence of Lord Manjunatha, who is hailed as the protector of truth, will not take place, and the leaders will just pay obeisance to the presiding deity. However, the police cannot take any chances, as they will be blamed for any adverse eventualities.

The media, which had made preparations to telecast the programme of taking religious oath about the truthfulness of their respective claims by the CM and his political adversary, H D Kumaraswamy, has shelved the preparations in view of the fact that this programme will not take place. However, visit by these leaders and their followers, has kicked up lot of interest.

Dear So Called Elected Representatives,( Who are responsible for this deployment)

Request you to calculate salary and allowances and other expenditure for this deployment and pay to the state Fund. You are making fun @ the cost of general public. Same fund would have been used for developmental activities.
Some one can help to calculate the cost of deployment and publish in this blog.

It is just mockery of democracy, stupidity to the extreme of our political leaders. It happens because they know the people still follow them and vote them. To service their purpose they divide the society and use their money and muscle power. Ultimately we people to be blamed for bringing them to power.

Raping of democracy by Yeddy in the expanse of Tax payers is highly objectionable. This is nothing but height of foolishness and and demonstration of non accountability to the citizens of Karnataka.

The AAAAAAAAANE incident which is said to be unprecedented by an reigning CM demonstrates his weakness in running the affairs of Karnataka.Dharmstala,a place for DHARMA in all senses may pollute the environment due to this uncalled AAAAANE.Time is still left with both to make a wise decision so that people of Karnataka would not curse them along with Lord Manjunatha of Dharmastala. On voters and devotee's point of view both Yeddy and HDK are 'persona non grata' to Dharmasatala.God give good sense to both heavy weight politicians of our GREAT KARNATAKA.
