Bangalore: Citing High Command Directions, CM to Skip Divine Oath

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Jun 25: State Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, will begin his journey by train on the evening of Sunday June 26 from the city, and reach Kabaka-Puttur railway station at around 6.35 am on Monday. He will go to Dharmasthala by road at 7.30 am. Yeddyurappa told the newsmen that he will visit Dharmasthala alone, and that no family members will be accompanying him. He said he will not take religious oath in the presence the presiding deity of Dharmasthala  Sri Manjunatheshwara Temple as announced earlier, as he has been advised by top leaders of the party not to go ahead with his plan. At the same time, he laid bare his plans to file defamation suit against Kumaraswamy for the allegations.

Kumaraswamy clarified that Yeddyurappa, who had called him a traitor, had planned to brand the former with some other names too. He said he had withstood the advices of the religious leaders to stay away from taking religious oath at Dharmasthala, to ensure that Yeddyurappa will not make more such allegations against him. He reiterated his decision to go ahead with his plan, irrespective of what Yeddyurappa does, and whether the CM visits Dharmasthala or not.

State president of the BJP, Eshwarappa, clarified that national president of the party, Nitin Gadkari, had discussed the issue with himself and Yeddyurappa. “Our president has told us not to seek divine interference in such issues, as per the principles of the party. Therefore, no one from the party will be resorting to this method henceforth,” he added.

Former Chief Miniser, H D Kumaraswamy, will begin his journey on Sunday morning, travel by road, and reach Dharmasthala at night after addressing public meetings at Ramanagar, Magadi, Kunigal, Bellur Cross, Channarayanapatna and Hassan. He will stay overnight at Dharmsthala, go ahead with his earlier decision to affirm the veracity of his charges at Dharmasthala temple on June 27 morning, and address a public meeting at Ujire later.

Current and ex-cm, both are jokers not fit to become cm anymore. Both are corrupt one or the other way.God will also get puzzled if HE see their faces together in any holy places. Both have spent a lot of public money to check their horoscope, forcast, blessings etc and this will go on till they are in politics.Yeddi will bat and HD will bowl and vise versa. Every citizen have "RIGHT TO INFORMATION" when they are in power to what God said to them when they visit to holy places officially. Please dont waste tax payers money to vomit your poison in holy places sir.

This end was well known. Both Yeddy & Kumara Swamy have enough misdeeds.. they may not have any guts for any oath. The standard of Karnataka CM well known to everybody but look at other BJP MPs they are announcing that, taking oath is no fault...! So we do not need any constitution Mutts, Temples, Swamys, Poojas and oaths are enough.

I think CM has ray of hope to patch up with HDK in Dharmasatala and that's why both are heading for the SANNIDHI OF LORD MANJUNATHA OF DHARMASTALA.

God only should save us from these politicians. When the entire world is on the progressive path, we in Karnataka drifting backwards due to our own fault of ing these inactive, inefficient and corrupt leaders. This is a lesson for us, ofcourse, learnt in a bad way. The people of Karnataka needs to be more vigilent in future and ensure a proper and efficient leader is elected to run the affairs of the state.

This entire drama and final ending is not at all surprising.
Yeddy and HDK have both aligned together and played this game. The third person who had played a key role for advising to break this oath taking is Gadakari, this is nothing but eye wash as Yeddy is Gadakari's loyalist. Gadakari is already paying big price in way of revolt within his own party and he will support Yeddy at any cost for his own survival and not to loose his loyalist supporter Yeddy.
Karnataka people have already paid a big price by electing BJP. The politicians are outright looting and wasting tax payers money which should have utilized for the benefit of the Karnataka. These are like enemies within our own land who are concerned about themselves not the welfare of the people who have elected them. Total disgusting and shameful.

Good decision by the Chief Minister. It does not make sense to bring in a Holy place to sort out disputed issues. Even the former Chief Minister will also not take that proposed oath, as he may be "arrested" on his way or will "abide" by the wishes of the party. This looks like another drama. Both of them have realised that they made the announcement to prove a point.

These really sound like jokers our cm thinks that the public who has voted for him r fools after he being in office we can clearly see that he has wasted more of his time in temples, mutts and religious activities, let it be any caste we do not want our politicians to be after religion, we vote for sake of development and other works which are more important than stupid things such as taking oaths and wasting public money and time, just see the trouble caused to the police dept and the public really a shame on the so called uncivilized politicians than these i think the britishers were far better god pls enlighten their minds
