Mangaluru: Two motorcycle thieves arrested, vehicles recovered

Mangaluru, Mar 29: The city police on Tuesday March 28 arrested two motorcycle thieves and reciovred two vehicles from them.

The arrested accused are identified as Farish Sharma alias Gillu (19) and Dhanush (20), both from Chitradurga.

Police intercepted two people riding a bike suspiciously near Mallikatte and conducted inspection. They recovered a Yamaha RX100 motorcycle stolen from Capitanio and Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle that was stolen from Valencia. The total value of the motorcycles that were recovered is estimated to be Rs 85,000. Cases of thefts were registered against the two accused at Mangaluru east police station.

The operation was conducted by Mangaluru east police station inspector and staff in the leadership of Mahesh Kumar, assistant police commissioner, under directions from Dinesh Kumar B P, deputy police commissioner crime and traffic, Anshu Kumar, deputy police commissioner law and order and under guidance from Kuldeep Kumar Jain, police commissioner.
